Refund and Return Policy

At HiViz Workwear, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds are processed and should be read in conjunction with our Shipping Policy.

All references to transactions, fees, and refunds are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

If a product has a major failure, you are entitled to choose a refund or replacement and may be entitled to compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

If a product has a minor failure, we may repair, replace, or refund the item within a reasonable timeframe.

Nothing in this policy limits, excludes, or replaces your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Items Excluded from Change-of-Mind Returns

Unless required under Australian Consumer Law, the following items cannot be returned for change-of-mind reasons:

  • Clearance or Final Sale items

  • Special-order products sourced specifically upon request

  • Customised, embroidered, printed, or branded garments

  • Products that have been worn, washed, damaged, altered, or used

If any of the above items are faulty, damaged, or not as described, your rights under Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected.

3. Change of Mind, Incorrect Size or Colour

If you change your mind or order the incorrect size or colour, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order, provided:

  • The item is unused, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.

  • All tags, labels, packaging, and accessories remain attached.

  • The item is returned with proof of purchase.

  • A Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) has been obtained before returning the item.

Once your RAN has been issued, the return package must be shipped within 14 calendar days.

4. Change-of-Mind Return Costs

The following conditions apply to approved change-of-mind returns:

For exchanges requiring a replacement item to be sent, a shipping charge of $19.95 AUD will apply.

These conditions apply only to change-of-mind returns and do not apply to faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied items.

5. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please provide:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs showing the fault or discrepancy

For verified faulty or incorrect items:

  • HiViz Workwear will cover return postage costs.

  • A replacement, repair, or refund will be provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

6. Refund Processing

Once a returned item has been received and inspected, approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Refunds are generally processed within 5–7 business days.

Please note that banks and payment providers may require additional time for funds to appear in your account.

Where applicable, any approved deductions relating to non-refundable original shipping costs will be applied before the refund is issued.

7. How to Lodge a Return

To request a return:

  1. Contact us at info@hivizworkwear.com.au or call 0403 774 791.

  2. Request a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN).

  3. Securely package the item with proof of purchase.

  4. Clearly write the RAN on the outside of the parcel.

  5. Send the package to:

Returns received without a valid RAN may be delayed or refused.
